Our Story and Mission
Welcome to Pure Potions — where natural living, thoughtful ingredients, and handmade care come together.
My journey began when I turned 50 and started paying closer attention to the ingredients in the products we use every day. I was surprised to discover how many unnecessary chemicals and additives were present not only in our food, but also in the products we put on our skin. That realization inspired me to start making healthier alternatives for myself and my family.
I began in the kitchen by creating simple staples such as homemade onion soup mix, ranch seasoning, bouillon, and other everyday basics. Making these from scratch allowed me to know exactly what was going into the foods we enjoyed.
As a teacher with summers off, I had the time to research natural ingredients and learn how to craft my own personal care products. What started as curiosity quickly became a passion. Over the past several years, I’ve been creating handmade face lotions, body lotions, soaps, salves, teas, and natural remedies, all made in small batches with carefully selected ingredients.
At Pure Potions, my goal is simple: to offer products that are natural, gentle, and made with care. Each item is created with the same attention and intention that I use when making products for my own home and family.
I believe in keeping things simple, honest, and close to nature — because what we put in our bodies and on our bodies truly matters.
